    Full-Time Elementary Student Support Teacher (Grant Funded)

    The position requires Professional Educator Licensure (PEL) with an Elementary Education Endorsement. The position will provide remedial instruction to elementary students. The successful candidate must display an excellent understanding of State standards, differentiated instruction, and assessment strategies that ensure student growth. In addition, the candidate must be able to work in a professional learning community, effectively use technology and foster positive home/school engagement.

    The position is grant-funded, and student instruction must focus on reducing the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. The salary will follow the collective bargaining agreement salary schedule between the Marion Education Association & Marion Community Unit School District #2. Health insurance benefits are available.

    High School Family & Consumer Science Teacher

    The position requires the candidate to hold or obtain an Educator License with Stipulations (ELS) for grades 9-12 with an Endorsement in Family & Consumer Science.  The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching consumer education and other qualified courses as assigned.
