Hi!  My name is Janet Taylor and although it is my 10th year to be teaching first grade, I am as excited as I was my first year!  I am a graduate of Indiana University, where I have a degree in Spanish as well as Elementary Education.  I  love to incorporate Spanish into my first grade room and expose my students to another culture.  

I am originally from Virginia,  but moved to Marion over 20 years ago where my husband and I have raised our two daughters, Rachel and Alyssa.   Rachel is a graduate from the University of MIchigan and currently resides in Ann Arbor, and Alyssa is a sophomore at Indiana University in Bloomington, In.  Both of my daughters visit my classroom whenever they can and love to meet my students!

If I'm not visiting one of my daughters on the weekends, you will find me enjoying the outdoors and walking my 55 lb Golden Doodle.
